Good CLIL practice

We cannot say that there can be bad content and language integrated learning, if it is bad so it is not CLIL because I understand that CLIL constitutes the use of best practices incorporating some approaches like EMI   (English as a Medium of Instruction), LAC (Language Across the Curriculum) and CBI (Content-Based Instruction), and the use of Scaffolding, for example.  With all of the stuff that CLIL implies, students learn building their language and reaching the position where they have to. Something that we have to remember of everything thing we have studied in this course is that CLIL is based on language acquisition rather than enforced learning.
   
Even when CLIL may seem overwhelming and daunting, for me, CLIL is good. The only thing is that teachers need to have the right training because it can help our students achieve higher levels of education in terms of knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation.

An example for achieving good CLIL, according to Jerome Bruner, is the use of scaffolding because it can help break up the learning into chunks and provide a tool for those students who may need some help in the classroom. So, the process in which instructors model how to solve a problem, and then step back, offering support as needed. So, good CLIL can be rewarding for us and for our students on my point of view.
